Welcome to www.cc-taskforce.org (the "Site"). This website is owned and operated by the Climate Change Task Force (CCTF). By creating an account, accessing, or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use this Site or register as a member.

2. Eligibility and Registration

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to register on this Site.
• Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process, including your full name, physical address, and professional qualifications.
• Identity Verification: The CCTF Personnel Management Directorate reserves the right to verify your details against government records. Providing false information regarding your rank, professional license, or identity is a violation of these Terms and the CCTF Code of Ethics.

3. Member Obligations and Performance

This Site serves as the digital command center for your physical duties. By registering, you acknowledge that your account standing is tied to your operational performance as defined in the CCTF Constitution:

• Activity Logging: You are responsible for accurately logging your environmental activities on this Site. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Planting the required number of trees annually based on your rank (e.g., 100 trees for Officers).
  • Collecting the required quota of plastic waste (minimum 12kg per year).
• Proof of Activity: When logging activities, you may be required to upload digital evidence (photos, videos, or geo-tagged data). You warrant that all evidence submitted is authentic and unaltered. Falsifying reports is considered misconduct and is grounds for immediate disciplinary action.

4. User-Generated Content and Media License

To track our collective impact, users are required to upload content (photos/videos) proving their environmental contributions.

• License Grant: By uploading content to the Site (e.g., photos of tree planting, clean-up drives), you grant the CCTF a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for official reporting, government compliance, and public advocacy purposes.
• Content Standards: You must not upload content that is offensive, infringing, or unrelated to CCTF missions.

5. Third-Party Links and Tools

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or tools required for your tasks, such as ecosaver.earth (for carbon footprint calculations) or government portals.

• No Control: The CCTF has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
• Use at Own Risk: Accessing these links is at your own risk. You should review the terms and policies of any third-party site you visit.

6. Intellectual Property

• CCTF Brand: The name "Climate Change Task Force," the "CCTF" acronym, and the official CCTF logos and insignias are the intellectual property of the organization.
• Restrictions: You may not use the CCTF logo, name, or uniform for personal commercial gain, political campaigning, or private advertising without the express written authorization of the Director General. Unauthorized use that implies official endorsement is strictly prohibited.

7. Code of Conduct

Your digital conduct on this Site must adhere to the CCTF Code of Ethics and Conduct. You agree NOT to:

• Use the Site to harass, bully, or discriminate against other members.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the database or other user accounts.
• Misrepresent your rank or authority to the public or other members.

8. Account Termination and Suspension

The CCTF reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account under the following conditions:

• Non-Performance: Failure to meet the required annual quotas (tree planting, waste collection) or failure to log activities for an extended period may result in account suspension, subject to a review process by the Command.
• Misconduct: Violation of these Terms or the Code of Ethics.
• Review Process: Terminations based on non-performance are subject to review by the relevant Personnel Officer before becoming final.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• Volunteer Nature: Unless explicitly stated in a separate employment contract, your use of this Site and participation in CCTF activities is voluntary. You are not an employee of the CCTF solely by virtue of using this Site.
• Operational Safety: The Site provides coordination for field activities. The CCTF is not liable for physical injuries or damages incurred during the execution of field missions (e.g., tree planting) coordinated through the Site. Members are expected to follow safety protocols.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this Site. Your continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
